Something’s Rising
20. Mai 2007
Der Soundtrack zu dem Film “Wer früher stirbt ist länger tot” ist wohl einer der schönsten, den ich seit langem gehört habe. Alle Lieder wurden von Gerd Baumann u.a. geschrieben und eingespielt.
Hier der Songtext (a.k.a. Lyrics) zu dem Titelsong “Something’s Rising”:
Something’s rising
(Musik und Text: G. Baumann/Horn)
Something changing in my world
a static blotting out my soul
Someone’s playing with my soul
someone’s dining with my bride
Something changing in my world
I see drawings on the wall
walking up a minor scale
running up without a guide
Something’s rising
something’s falling
as we’re drifting by
Someone’s praying
Someone’s failing
as we walking by
Something changing in my world
an odor seeping from my pares
My master playing filthy games
and he’s paying for the ride…
Something’s rising
something’s falling
as we’re drifting by
Someone’s praying
Someone’s failing
as we walking by
Something’s rising
something’s falling
as we’re drifting by
Someone’s praying
Someone’s failing
as we walking by
Something’s rising
something’s falling
as we’re drifting by
Someone’s praying
Someone’s failing
as we walking by
O.K.
the train is leaving now
out through the tunnel door (O.K.)
the cream and cheese for that
the fluffy sky above (O.K.)
along the flower trees
with sloppy hills and that (O.K.)
into the mighty tree
into the mighty tree (O.K.)
Something’s rising
Something’s falling
as we’re drifting by
Someone’s praying
Someone’s failing
as we walking by
Something’s rising
Something’s falling
as we’re drifting by
Someone’s praying
Someone’s failing
as we walking by
Something changing in my world
